Hello,

Welcome to Two-Hearted Vibrations. We are a family-owned business that has grown out of a love for nature.

From the cobbled beaches of Grand Marais to the driftwood-strewn shoreline of Whitefish Point, we search the wave-washed gravel for stones with real character. Some are special enough to offer just as they are—raw, unpolished agates straight off the beach, still carrying the color and spirit of the North Country. Others head to my winter workbench in the Lower Peninsula, where I cut, shape, and polish them into glowing display specimens, unique cabochons for your own creations, and finished fine jewelry ready to wear or gift.

If you’d like more than a souvenir, you can join me in the hunt. I offer small, guided rock-hunting tours along the Two Hearted shoreline—relaxed, hands-on walks where I’ll show you exactly what to look for, how to read the gravel bars, and how to spot agates hiding in plain sight. Whether you’re here to shop raw stones, choose a finished piece of jewelry, pick out a special specimen, or book a guided agate-hunting adventure, you’re in the right place—I’d be honored to help you find your next favorite stone and the story that comes with it.

Guided Rock Hunting Expeditions

The mouth of the Two Hearted River is one of the wildest, most unspoiled stretches of Lake Superior shoreline in the Upper Peninsula—and most people drive right past it. Just beyond the beaten path lie beaches that never show up on maps: remote coves where agates pile along the tide line, hidden cobble bars where gems lie stacked under the waves, and secluded bluffs that can only be reached on foot. This isn’t a tourist excursion, but a true hunt along a wilderness shoreline, guided by someone who has spent decades learning every curve and current of these remarkable beaches.
